Bruce Womens Golf Association is an active ladies golf group comprised of Greenwich, CT resident and nonresident members. BWGA’s Tuesday 18 holers' tee times are scheduled in advance by tournament committee. Members sign up for upcoming tournament on the Leaderboard System. Depending on number of players, the tournament committee reserves the right to assign players to another group to fill a tee time. 

Greens fees are paid directly at the course on playing date. Golf cart rentals are paid separately in the Pro Shop.

BWGA's mentoring program couples mentors with new members. Having a mentor advise on tournament procedures, answer questions and introduce them to other players is beneficial for new members.

BWGA’s tournaments at the Griff are competitive events for all handicappers. Players sign up on the Leaderboard System a week before tournament. Players choose between playing from Green Tee or Gold Tee boxes. BWGA encourages players to partner with different members throughout the season and not always play with the same group. 

Pace of play is an important aspect of the game. USGA rules limit lost ball searches to three minutes. To abide by USGA handicap rules, no gimmes or pickups are allowed. Players should enter score after each round after checked and attested to. Gross scores are posted on the Leaderboard System and not on GHIN. The tournament committee reviews tournament results and emails players with the winners and prizes after each tournament.
