Fairchild Wheeler Women’s Golf Club


Founded in 1957, the Fairchild Wheeler Women’s Golf Club is 60+ years old and our purpose remains ever true: promote the spirit of a fun and friendly relationship among women golfers, to acquaint all members with the rules of the game and courtesy on the course. We welcome all levels of women golfers. We offer non-resident neighbors special rates – See PGA Golf Pro, Stephen Roach.

We play at “The Wheel” which has two courses, fondly referred to as, “The Red and The Black”. This 36-hole facility offers a driving range, practice facilities, electric carts, Junior Golf Program, PGA Golf Lessons, Golf Shop, and a 19th hole – Vazzy’s Restaurant. Located at 2390 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, CT.

We offer 9-hole and 18-hole Leagues.  Our official season runs from April to October but we play all year long! 

Membership includes:

  1. GHINhin #, allows you to establish a handicap and play in our weekly tournaments
  2. Preferred tee times - golf every weekday and weekend
  3. Play between two beautiful and distinctive course layouts
  4. Tournament winnings for challenges and events
  5. Access to play in our Social and Major events
  6. Access to join the state-wide women’s associations Southern New England Women’s Golf Association (SNEWGA) snewga.org and Southern Connecticut Women’s Golf Association (SCWGA) scwga.org

Membership options:

  1. Full membership $85.00 (Includes your yearly Hole in one Fee)
  2. Junior Membership $35.00 (12-17 years)

Not sure how to get started? No worries....New members are paired up with a mentor to make it easy and fun! Get outside and Golf!
