Fairfield Women’s Golf 9 Hole League - Carl Dickman Par 3
The Fairfield Women’s 9-Hole Golf League, open to residents and non-residents, is an Association committed to promoting and encouraging the friendly competition of golf among all interested women golfers. Members will play according to the rules of the USGA (United States Golf Association) and local rules as established by the Fairfield Women’s Golf League. This league is played at the Carl J Dickman/Par 3 Golf Course located off S. Pine Creek Road. This is a 9-hole course with holes of varying lengths, but all are Par 3s. Play will be scheduled from late April through October, 2023.
The FWGL offers its members an effective way to play more golf and meet new people while providing the opportunity to play a round in a more structured format. Foursomes will have a maximum of 90 minutes to complete the 9-hole course, with accurately recorded scorecards submitted upon completion of each round.
Monday events at the CJD/Par 3 Course will include Stroke Play, the Club Championship, the Ann Stanley Tournament, and other selected weekly tournaments. Play at this course offers a wonderful opportunity to strengthen one's short game while also providing the advantage for newer players to join in a round with more experienced golfers. A special handicap will be determined after 5 rounds for new league members, allowing for competition and prizes by handicap and flight.
